Bodytox Lavender Sleep Patches are primarily used to aid the user to enjoy a restful night’s sleep but can also be used for detoxification. Lavender has been used for centuries as a herbal remedy and is believed to be beneficial for a multitude of ailments.

Bodytox Lavender Sleep Patches contain a high quality blend of ingredients, to include tourmaline, (an energy crystal compound) and wood vinegar as the principal ingredients which help to simulate the actions of Reflexology. The lavender oil contained within the patches works in harmony with the ingredients to not only support the natural cleansing of the body but aid the user to enjoy a restful night’s sleep with less sleep interruptions.
Scientific evidence suggests that aromatherapy with lavender may improve sleep quality, promote relaxation, and lift mood.

According to medical knowledge, the human body has over 360 acupuncture points, with 60 of these and some 7000 nerve endings located on the soles of the feet alone. Reflexology as with other foot therapies works on similar principles to Bodytox Foot Patches, based on the theory that organs and areas of the body are mirrored by a meridian point (acupuncture point).

Lavender contains an ingredient referred to as ester, which is excellent at relieving fatigue by assisting the user to have sound sleep through relaxing the body and mind. Ingredients:

Lavender Oil - The lavender oil makes the mind and body feel more comfortable and induces the feeling of relaxation by releasing tension in the nerves.

Tourmaline - Tourmaline exerts a cleansing and liberating energy upon our entire nervous system with a clearing and stabilising effect. Tourmaline is best known for its ability to emit Far Infrared heat.

Agaricus - Agaricus mushrooms, produced in Brazil, contain vitamins, minerals, amino acids, including glucan. Agaricus forms anion and improves blood circulation of the human body by the effect of Far Infrared energy.

Wood Vinegar - Wood vinegar has properties that have been shown to maintain good blood circulation and the removal of toxins from swollen areas. It is also documented to help remove toxic venom from snake bites and stings.

Chitosan - Chitosan is produced from the shells of crustaceans. Chitosan products have been used now for over 30 years by water companies to help detoxify water by trapping toxins, grease, heavy metals, and oils.

Eucalyptus Oil - The Australian Aborigines were the first to discover the amazing health properties of the Eucalyptus leaf.

Mugwort Extract - Mugwort Extract is a herb widely used to help soothe skin.

Loquat extract - It is known to promote the secretion of body fluids and it also has antitussive, expectorant and antiemetic properties.

Vitamin C - Increases high density lipoprotein (HDL) production.
HDL is able to help absorb fat located in plaque. In the process it changes from a disc shape to a globular form of HDL and takes this fat to the liver to be burned.

Highly purifi ed silica - Composed of fine porous particles that are non-crystalline with good fluidity.

Pearl stone - Made of crystalline igneous rock which shows a wonderful effect for improving fluidity and absorbability.

Starch - Works to absorb moisture and by doing so heightens the effect of other ingredients through its synergistic effect on the other ingredients.

Polyolic alcohol - An agent to preserve moisture.

Directions:

There are three zones the patch can be applied to: the heel, the arch or the ball of the foot. Before going to bed simply remove the outer packaging and place the Lavender Sleep Patches horizontally across the soles of each foot, pressing firmly to secure them. Using the reflexology chart, determine which areas of the body you would like to target. For sleep, the highlighted areas on the reflexology foot map would be the most beneficial place to apply the patches.

Patches should be left on for between 6-12 hours during sleep time and then a new one should be applied the next time you go to bed each night. To Aid sleep we would recommend using the patches for a minimum 3 – 10 nights however for detox it is recommended the patches are applied for a minimum 6 – 14 nights depending on your own conditions and lifestyle. Once you feel you have achieved the desired result indicated by the patch colouring and how you feel, the patches can then be used as a maintenance program for 3 days or longer when required.

Optimum detoxification will only be achieved by consuming a minimum of 1.5 litres of water daily. The water acts as the carrier to flush toxins out through the soles of your feet which are then absorbed by the patches.
