This soap is dermatologically tested. This means that the products are checked by independent scientists and analysed referring to their application and compatibility. Aleppo soap certificate is Grade A: "very good".

The older the soaps are the more dry they get. Accordingly, the weight of origin decreases. Aleppo soap is said to  get better as its gets older (just like wine & women!)
