This is a traditional handmade wooden eyeliner (sormeh) applicator

Natural eyeliner is made from almonds & other nuts & cooked to produce a black soot which is then mixed with a little oil to produce natural eyeliner. Used since the Egyptian Empire this is still used today by many ladies in the middle east.
